On October 3rd and 4th, the latest edition of the VAR Group Convention, titled “Hello Dreamers. The Visionary Side of Digital Evolution”, was held at the Palacongressi in Rimini. The event focused on the theme of "dreams," both personal and business-related, highlighting how vision and technological innovation can turn ambitious ideas into reality. Among the key participants was Daniele Leonardi, CEO of SADA CAVI, who took part in a workshop discussing the company's evolution and the significant contribution of new technologies.
DIGITAL DEEP DIVE: Challenges of the Modern Market
The workshop, in which Daniele Leonardi participated, was titled “Digital Deep Dive” and explored various case studies showcasing the impact of technological evolution on businesses, with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence. During his speech, Daniele Leonardi retraced the technological evolution of SADA CAVI, emphasizing how efficient warehouse management has been a critical success factor. He highlighted investments made over time, starting with the introduction of vertical warehouses thirty years ago, followed by the integration of a WMS (Warehouse Management System) to optimize operations. More recently, the company has adopted an "artificial vision" system, enabling advanced logistics management and improving operational efficiency.
Leonardi concluded his speech by discussing SADA CAVI's future plans, particularly the experimentation with Generative Artificial Intelligence to support the sales team. This technology promises to analyze large amounts of data to customize offers and respond promptly to customer needs, adapting to the dynamics of an ever-evolving market.
An Event Filled with "Dreams"
Hello Dreamers offered a wide range of speeches and artistic performances, all inspired by the theme of dreams. Hosted by comedians Luca Bizzarri and Paolo Kessisoglu, the event gave the stage to business leaders and prominent personalities who shared their success stories. Francesca Moriani, CEO of VAR Group, opened the event by presenting the vision that drives the company, while Vincenzo Esposito, CEO of Microsoft Italy, and Uri Levine, co-founder of Waze, shared their journeys in technological innovation.
Other distinguished guests, such as Marzio Trevisan, Senior Vice President of Essilor Luxottica, and Olympic champion Jury Chechi, enriched the discussion with their stories of dreams realized through determination and strategy.
The event was further enhanced by artistic performances, including music by the band OP3 and the sand art of Andrea Arena, which offered creative and engaging moments for the audience.
The 2024 edition of Hello Dreamers once again confirmed the value of dreams as a driving force for innovation and growth, inspiring participants to continue imagining and shaping the future through vision and technology.
