UL/CSA Regulations
The North American market in the industrial automation sector is steadily growing, and SADA Cavi continues to design and develop systems to better manage all UL/CSA compliant cables, providing the customer with a compliant product throughout the production process.
SADA CAVI has designed, built, and installed a new automated warehouse capable of handling plywood and wooden coils.
The system is used exclusively for cutting (respooling) cables to UL/CSA standards and eliminates errors in the normal cable preparation process, since certification requires that a UL/CSA label always be present on the cut, guaranteeing the traceability of the product and its manufacturing process.
SADA CAVI S.p.a. has achieved UL Processed Wire - Respooled certification. Whenever a standard cable length is reduced in square footage through cutting, UL Processed Wire - Respooled comes into effect.
This certification requires that a UL label is always present on the cable to ensure traceability of the product and its manufacturing process. Periodic inspections by the agency ensure procedural correctness over time.
