From May 28-30, 2024, we will be exhibiting at SPS Italia, the trade fair for smart, digital and sustainable industry held at Parma trade fair.
This event represents a great opportunity to showcase our innovations in the industrial automation sector and to introduce our new analysis laboratory, SADA LAB, one of the flagship features of our company.
What is SPS Italia?
The SPS the top trade fair on Automation and Digital Products for Industry, originated and has been held for more than 30 years in Nuremberg, and in Italy, China and the U.S. for several years. It is an unmissable event for the Italian manufacturing sector and represents a unique opportunity to learn
about the latest trends and discuss the most challenging issues in industrial automation.
The 2024 event will focus on smart, digital and flexible industry with a focus on sustainability, and is expected to attract over the already impressive 800 exhibitors of 2023.
One of the highlights of SPS Italia 2024 is District 4.0, running between pavilions 4, 7 and 8. This pathway is dedicated to four key areas of industry and offers working demos and applications. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the latest technologies and view solutions in action, proposed by the participants.

More specifically, we will introduce SADA LAB, our testing laboratory currently undergoing accreditation.
Accredited testing and calibration laboratories are able to provide the market with reliable, credible and internationally accepted statements of conformity to guarantee the quality, reliability and safety of the products supplied. Accreditation certifies the conformity of the laboratory’s activities with the requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 17025: “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories” ensuring technical competence, confidentiality and efficiency of services.
Sada Cavi S.p.A. has planned and realized the construction of a highly qualified laboratory, within its own structure, specifically aimed at testing and ensuring the quality and conformity of the cables it supplies to the market.
The Sada Cavi laboratory also operates according to the basic principles of quality management in accordance with European ISO 9001 standards, guaranteeing the identification and traceability of technical specifications while maintaining confidentiality of information.
The main tests currently conducted in the Sada Cavi laboratory are:
- Tests for measuring the tensile strength and stretching of insulators and sheaths
- Tests for dimensional measurements of outer diameters, as well as sheath and insulation thicknesses
- Test for measuring the electrical resistance of conductors
